Tyler’s passion for landscaping was sparked during his college summers in Texas, working on his stepdad’s landscaping crew. It was there he discovered the satisfaction of transforming overgrown properties into beautiful, manicured spaces — and developed a deep appreciation for the smell of fresh-cut grass and the pride that comes from a job well done.

That foundation led him to the Palouse Falls Golf Course at Washington State University, where he helped maintain a championship-level course. The experience sharpened his attention to detail and instilled a lasting love for golf course-quality lawns and precision property care.

After college, Tyler and his wife Lindsey moved to Texas, where he built a career in tech. While successful on paper, Tyler found himself constantly staring out the window, longing to be outdoors. On weekends, he started a small side gig maintaining lawns for local homeowners — a taste of the work he truly loved. After five years in tech, Tyler and Lindsey decided to pursue a new chapter together and launched a successful husband-and-wife real estate team. For seven years, they helped clients buy and sell homes across the area.

As a team, they offered far more than just transactions. Tyler was hands-on with both interior and exterior preparation — handling minor repairs, room refreshes, and landscape updates that dramatically improved curb appeal and property value. They quickly learned that thoughtful home refreshes helped their listings stand out and sell faster than the market average. They truly enjoyed the process of reviving homes and making them shine.

Today, the Esparza family of five lives in Farragut, Tennessee. They recently completed a full home remodel and landscape renovation — completing 99% of the work themselves with help from Tyler’s brother Nick. This hands-on project put every skill they’d developed over the years to the test and left them thrilled with the final result.

Now, Tyler is excited to bring his experience, work ethic, and passion for outdoor transformation to the next level by launching Tennessee Lawnscapes. With a strong background in property maintenance and a commitment to quality, he’s ready to help homeowners in the Knoxville area enjoy beautiful, well-cared-for landscapes they can be proud of.

Tyler also continues to hold his real estate license in Tennessee. He and Lindsey are happy to assist with any real estate transactions or smaller interior and exterior projects. With years of experience in minor renovations, room refreshes and preparing homes for sale, they’re always open to helping friends, family, and clients with their property needs.
